We are thrilled to announce some significant changes happening at Riverbend! In the upcoming weeks, we will be transforming our main office area and lodge to create an even more inviting atmosphere. The 1250 sf office space will be converted into a versatile meeting and events venue, perfect for weddings and other special gatherings. The lodge will also undergo renovations, including new flooring, a modernized kitchen, an upgraded loft area for added privacy, and more. Our wedding packages at Riverbend will now offer full access to the lodge and reception area, ideal for smaller gatherings of up to 60 people. Couples can enjoy a 2-night stay in the lodge for up to 10 guests, as well as a 2-night stay in a bridal cabin for extended family. Additionally, there will be a 15% discount on other cabins, yurts, and RV sites for family and guests. As a special treat, we are offering a complimentary 2-night stay for your 1st anniversary in the cabin of your choice. *Certain restrictions may apply.

Riverbend Cottage & RV Resort
Riverbend Cottage & RV Resort, is located on 16 wooded acres along The Englishman River. Located just off Highway 19A on Riverside Road. We are close to Parksville's beaches and steps from Rathtrevor and Top Bridge Provincial Parks. Close to 6 golf courses, spas, mini-golf, restaurants and shopping. Riverbend is the perfect spot to launch your exploration of all the natural wonders Vancouver Island has to offer.
At Riverbend Cottage & RV Resort we cater to a full range of vacationers by hosting cottages, yurts, full-service RV sites, as well as tenting.
Our fully equipped cottages and yurts can accommodate from two to 10 people and all of our vacation rentals have indoor fireplaces, outdoor firepits, sundecks, a kitchen or kitchenette, three piece bath, onsite parking, and picnic tables.
Over one hundred fully equipped 30 and 50 amp RV sites can accommodate everything from tent trailers to class-A motorhomes.
The Englishman River runs right along the resort, and includes a beach for summer swimming fun and "Catch & Release" fishing.
Playground and Playing Field
A centrally located playground with a climbing structure, swings, slide and Little Tykes play equipment is a great way for kids under ten to have a great time. Older kids will appreciate the big playing field where they can play soccer, football or a game of catch. Paved roadways are also great for kids on bikes.
Horseshoe Pits
the play area also features four horseshoe pits - equipment can be borrowed from the main office.
Coffee and a Paper
Guests are warmly encouraged to drop by the office in the morning to grab a cup of coffee or read one of the local newspapers to start off the day.
Lending Library
A wide selection of books, magazines and video tapes can be borrowed from the main office anytime during your stay.
